Remembrance at the Garveston Twelve Memorial |
At 12:15pm today, 29 Residents of Garveston, braved the heavy rain, gale force wind and near freezing temperatures to honour the Garveston Twelve. |
The wreath was laid by Michael Garrod the chairman of the parish council, his granddaugters Imogen and Tilly recited the exhortation and Kohima epitaph. |
Prayers were lead by David Goddard, lay reader. Ken Hamer (US citizen), chairmen of the Garveston Twelve Trust, read the twelve names. |
